ParticipantUnfortunately, you can't target one spot like that. Only diet and cardio will get rid of the fat…
With that said, there are some cool abdominal exercises that are more fun than regular sit-ups. On of my favorites works like this:
- Lie own on your back
- Make sure you have enough room to tilt your legs all the way to the left and all the way to the right
- If you have a partner – grab your partner's ankles and point your feet straight up into the air at a 90 degree angle
- Ask your partner to try to push your legs to the floor and mix it up – some pushes to the left – some to the right – some straight down
- Your goal is to bring your legs back up to the start position as quickly as possible
- If you don't have a partner – try to simulate this on your own to the best of your ability – it still really works!
This hits all of your abdominals as well as your obliques. It's a great exercise – especially for people who are tired of the traditional sit-ups and crunches.

ParticipantHydralyte passes the test! This stuff is absolutely amazing… For anyone who participates in endurance sports [marathons, biking, ironman, etc] I would HIGHLY encourage you to try this stuff out. The orange tasted the best to me – kind of like a weak Tang – but didn't have an overpowering flavor. You could really see a difference in the recovery time between our hydralyte test cases [the FAST team] and our control group.
I also used a couple of packets before and after a wedding with an open bar. I'll be darned but it really DID help prevent a hangover! [It does not, unfortunately, cure the lethargy following an 8am Tee-time preceded by a 4am lights out!]
Anyway, this is a great product and my department is purchasing a couple of cases for a broader trial. The fact that it performed well enough to convince our tight-fisted commissioners to actually spend money is a testament in its own right!

ParticipantI's am beyond anger, beyond compliments, beyond anything you can ever comprehend!
Also, dear child, if you ever attack Shadow or his ken like yo did on your Live Journal -for fullfilling a simple request form I no less- you shall no meanings of vitriol and wrath!
Be warned and be wary!It seems odd to me that this thread has degraded to the point where mods feel the need to issue idle threats that contradict their own words within the same post!
Let it go. Let her go. Carry on my wayward forum!

ParticipantI was wondering where you went! I haven't read anything by you since "Popped!"
Anyway – great work as usual. Maybe one of these days the guys in your story will have a happier ending!

ParticipantI recently "discovered" Met-Rx Protein Plus . It's a metamyosyn protein blend with whey protein isolates. I mix it in with regular skim milk. It has a little aspertame in it as a sweetener, but you can hardly tell. The stuff even tastes GOOD. It tastes kind of like vanilla astronaut ice cream…
