Thanks for the scans, Alex. There really was a lot of femuscle at Marvel in the '80 – too bad so much of it had the trademark pedestrian artwork of the Marvel B-list books… Well, at least we had Byrne at his prime, giving us the best She-Hulk work of the 20th century!

Kulli: first of all, fix your CafePress link – you got an extra " hanging at the end.
Second: PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let me do a request for you! I know I don't say it enough (or not at all – I am a bit of a prick that way), but I love your work (and that Felicia was indeed awesome). I'll do anything to bring a smile to those pale, british lips – even, even… even manga!!! 😀  What shall it be?

I know I'm a bit late on this, but I just saw it, and just had to chime in – just one mention of Mindy Obrien??! Com'n, guys, that girl is as cute and muscely as you can get without actually being a panda!
And, if you press me for a heavy-weighter – I've always had this thing about Bettie Pariso…

I kinda like the idea. I think a page a week for a long run is going to be hard, but it's do-able. I know I've been wanting to do an on-line strip for a long time, but without at least the promise of some financial reward I just couldn't put one day away for this. Besides the comics page, there should also be pin-ups on a regular basis, but I guess that would indeed be the easy part.
I think the most important thing would be to have a dedicated editor/webmaster/middle-man, who would actually run the show from backstage. Is that what you had in mind, Lingster?

First thought: I'm going to have to wait 10 days till it gets to Israel (this is one book I'm definetly not going to read off the web)!
Second: I'm not too excited about this. I loved the last run, I think Dan Slott is an excelent writer and I even came to like Bobbilo's work, but I feel they should have moved on from Quirky Shulkie, try and offset Slott's lighter ton with artwork that has a bit more… well, gravitas.
Third: what a waste of Frank Cho's talent Shanna was, and how teaming him up with Dan Slott might have produced a truly great comic book!

Hey, what's with the "swansong" stuff?! Eegore said his site is a page being turned – I'm sure he'll be back when he's good and ready, don't bury the guy just yet 😀

Yeah, well, I know what you mean. It's a real bitch how many talented people there are, out there; I guess the thing is to believe in yourself, and hustle a lot. And it's good to find a niche – though, preferably, one with more paying custumers than this one…
