Zespara AlatharParticipant
I know which ex-Avenger it is but I won't say at this point (just to leave a surprise for you). You'd probably never guess anyways but it's one who first appeared in the Avengers book during George Perez's first run on the book. 😛

Zespara AlatharParticipantI love this strip! That was the second time that she's tossed an engine block in the strip the first time occurring over a year ago. 😀
The strip is getting very heavy and dark but as long as he keeps on trucking out the ladies it's fine by me.

Zespara AlatharParticipantYeah, I was very disppointed that Sharon didn't gain the muscle mass that many of the other Grapplers obtained. However, she did not receive the complete treatment either. She was supposed to be subjected to some sort of ray to finish the procedure but never did. 😥
It's very typical of mainstream comics. Btw, I read a preview issue earlier that year that contained future information for all of the Marvel characters. For the issues of the Thing they had a few of his enemies that he was suppose to meet later and Thundra was among the characters. I was under the assumption that Sharon was going to be the new Thundra but the series was cancelled. I could never confirm my theory at any comic conventions. Btw, both are redheads. 🙂

Zespara AlatharParticipantLet me be the first to say….. great job!! Another Power Company chapter in the annals of FMG!! 🙂
Hopefully it won't be as long a wait for chapter four.

Zespara AlatharParticipantHmmm…. well, what if he changes his sig and removes the link? Then nobody will know where his site is located. 😀
Z
Zespara AlatharParticipantNot to mention that Supergirl was the lead character in the old Adventure Comics series for a while. 😉

Zespara AlatharParticipantThe whole storyline was a bizzare mess that I feel was never fully explained. To summarize, her "sister" Zaladane stole her magnetic powers in X-Men #250. I believe that she was a clone (I could be wrong) of Lorna which would explain how she could steal the magnetic powers.
For some reason, she grew occassionally at the beginning because of the negative emotions of people. I'm not sure how this was accomplished but I heard that the Shadow King was behind all of that although I've never seen the actual comic where this was explained. In later issues, she grew more muscular & taller and remained that way until a series of Annual issues where she was controlled by the Shadow King. Then suddenly she lost her size, strength and height with no explanation. If someone knows what issues this was explained please let me know. 😐
The X-Factor issue was great where Doc Samson was psychoanalyzing the team and Lorna was actually getting pretty buff exercising on her own. 🙂

Zespara AlatharParticipantThanks, Dave. I stand corrected. When you mentioned Kageena that triggered my mind. You are right. 😎

Zespara AlatharParticipantI love all of your drawings. The female He-Man character is fantastic. I've always wondered why nobody has taken this obvious FMG vehicle (Sword of Power) and created more stories or artwork revolving around it. There's one on the Xtreme Muscle yahoo group (I probably have the wrong name) in which Teela gains the power with Prince Adam.
Keep up the good work!

Zespara AlatharParticipantI do believe that Kara's daughter is Kyra who is now the protector of the jungle. She was in a comic book that was published by Elsewhere comics and which can be ordered through LH-Art, I believe. Kyra was drawn by Robin Ator in the 1980s and she was pretty muscular by the standards of that era (God, I sound old saying that!).
I believe that I read the backstory on that some time ago but I could be wrong on the connection as it has been awhile.
Here is the link to the books on the Mile High comics site.
