I'm pretty amazed at how Liz is portrayed on this show. usually a character with her type of looks would be typecast in the tomboy mold, but instead she comes across as being a thoughtful, introspective girl, albeit a bit stubborn.

I think it's an interesting rendering. It's better then when you borrowed Kinsyo's style. Still envious of the style in your art ^^ For some reason, the facial expression reminds me of Sheeri's from your online comic.
Might be temted to drew this character, if she does have a name a background. If not, I might pick Sheeri again, but she has changed so many times, it's had to know what version to drew.

I'm taking a lighter touch with the characters and concept for this new series of girls to try and match the energetic feel of anime, so backgrounds will be a bit less complex. Basically Reiko is fiery, brash, and confident almost to the point of arrogance, good at what she does and knows it. Still, she's as loyal and stalwart a friend as you'll find, often putting herself in harm's way in defense of those weaker than herself…which means she's sticking her neck out for a LOT of people.

Nice job on the colors, everyone. 🙂 I'm always interested in seeing what people have in mind for colors, which is why I usually don't tell anyone what thier regular colors are. 😀

Not likely just yet. Been sitting on them for awhile though…not exactly sure what I'd do with them now that I think about it.

Sometimes it takes me awhile to get my own style developed, I just end up putting all the experiments up here instead of keeping them to myself. :p I plan on at least doing more of Reiko if not developing some other girls as well using this style (I actually own the animemuscle.com and animeamazons.com domains, though I haven't ever done anything with either of them). I think I've made some stylistic headway, as my first attempt looked a lot like Kinsyo's work. :p

Ironically I've seen a few other guys online that can almost exactly mirror my style. I've seen some art that I could swear I drew myself, but haven't. :p
