ParticipantSounds great, Magnus! I only wish that I did not always get the "You are not authorized to view this page" message every time I try to see something there.

ParticipantI used to wear a body that reflected the fact that I played ice hockey, squash, and baseball. However, things have degraded some since I no longer have coaches routinely prodding me to run and do weight training. My work keeps me active so I'd have to say — normal.
To be blunt, its one thing to be femuscular eye-candy, but once you start demonstrating that you got a personality with some real brains to go with the body you suddenly become a threat to their fantasy.
I do not doubt anyone's personal assesment or experience, but, for what it is worth — my fantasy heroines are never just generously proportioned towers of well hewn sinew and muscle. As demonstrated in my stories, my preference (fantasy or otherwise) is for women to have intelligence and personality.

HunterAlso taken, and not trying to hit on anyone 🙂

ParticipantOne thing some of you have said is the "fantasy" vs "reality" aspect. This is what drives many women mad because here you are, fantasizing about what you know cannot exist, and no woman could ever hope to achieve what cannot exist…read: she will always think you think she's sub-par in one or more ways.
I suppose the key is that many of us (male and female) who occasionally fantasize about characters with unrealistic bodies know that we are fantasizing and only do it as an entertaiing diversion.
The reality is that in this "off-the-rack" world I am sure that most of us routinely find other people on a daily basis to whom we are attracted for one reason or another. I love the diversity of women, however, all things being equal, I do have some preferences. The thing is — all of us are "sub-par" for one reason or another — and — thank God — all things are never equal.
Would I really expect or even want someone to meet my "SheGrew" or other fantasies on a permanent, daily basis? — Of course not.Â
Do I suspect that women ever find that I match-up to their fantasy guy? — Of course not. Does it bother me? — Of course not.
I really, really enjoy lobster but do not eat it every day. But, on those days that I am not eating it, I do not enjoy whatever else I am eating less because it is not lobster. Likewise the pizza that I had last night should not feel inadequate because it was not lobster. Ironically, human nature being what it is; if for some reason I could have lobster every day, I would probably begin to think of something else as my favorite food.I do not mind at all when I am found to be attractive by someone who is grounded in reality but has occasional fanatasies that I do not match. And, to be fair, I do not employ a double-standard — that is — I certainly would not want anyone whom I have ever dated to feel inadequate or "sub-par" because they did not match my fantasy.
It is unfortunate that so many males and females, especially in heavily commercialized western societies, seem to allow themselves to feel inadequate or "sub-par" unless they meet some artificial, and sometimes unrealistic, standard(s). The reality is — they can never meet all or even some of them and they should not try.

ParticipantI have a 1.12 MB, .mpeg version of the abovementioned She Hulk sketch.
However, I would rather post it somewhere so that if anyone else is interested, I only need to upload it once.
Anyone know of a ImageShack-like site that can support such a file? Or, is there a Yahoo site that might be interested in hosting such a file?Tschuss!

ParticipantEverything is relative.Â
If I may touch on a few well-made points from above and add some additional and hopefully interesting points of my own:
A recent visit while on holiday to an old castle reminded me that "normal" folks in the Middle Ages were only about 4'6" to 5'3" tall. A six-footer would have seemed like a giant then but would only be considered a little above average for a male in most Western cultures now. Most of the human-like species that have left skeletal remains suggest that a five-footer would have been unusually tall and no doubt be considered a "giant". Most of the skeletal remains from "Biblical" times suggest that the average male height was five-foot or less.
Historically it has not been all that unusual for a given culture to preferentially select for tall-ness just as it would not be unusual for one to select for a given hair color or skin color or body habitus or nose size/shape, etc. Unfortunately, such cultures eventually tend to begin to pick up some unhealthy and unanticipated "side-effects" when "breeding" is narrowed in scope: either consciously or not. These side-effects can either be genetic or political. The most recent examples of which I can think — Nazi Germany advocating selection for tall, blonde, blue-eyed folks to the detriment of everyone else.
One argument (but far from proven) for the increasing rate of breast cancer in Western cultures is the preferential "selection" of women with larger breasts.
Genetics, diet, overall health, etc. can all play a role for a given person, family, society or race. The average age for the onset of puberty in females in the US has decreased from 15-16 yo in the 1950's to 11-12 yo now. Some speculate that this is a reflection of a more sexually active society somehow subconsciously influencing the onset of menses. Recall that The Pill became available in the early 1960's. Some others have pointed to the additives in our food supply.
Many cultures buried their dead and many others cremated them or fed them to animal "spirits" so remnants of the citizens of some of those old cultures might be essentially nonexistent. Or, as kissthemaniac mentioned, you could be sitting on top of one right now.

ParticipantNicely done, Rick.
Please consider this post a vote in support of "mini-giantesses".
Nothing against larger female characters but, typically, my interest begins to diminish as the female subject's height begins to exceed about twice the height of the male characters.Thank you for sharing!
