I modified some post for the sake of our members that check the forums during work. Pete's Image has been change to an external link with a warning.

I've officially stickied this page. All female muscle growth request should be submitted through this thread. If requests are made in their own solitary topics then the message will be deleted.

This is where we say HOLY SH**!  That is some serious rogueage!  I simply love the way the electricity was done on her gloves, really spectacular!

If I had to nitpick it would be on the following:

    – There seems to be an extra muscle bulge on the right calf, our right not hers.  It doesn't look very realistc and it also looks like that muscular bulge doesn't belong there.

    – Her facial expression doesn't really match what she's doing.  It's more like "Oh… yeah I'm just generating 100,000 gigavolts of electricity."

    – Not liking the shape of the boots for aesthetic reasons, seems just too bulky and ugly.  Skintight would be a heck of a lot more interesting to look at than those.  Only an opinion though…

    – On the left glove, our left not hers, you missed a spot where the background belongs.  It's all white instead of blue where the sky is and I know it's not a part of the glove because it is a solid white color.

    – Lastly, her boobs look a bit too smushed in that robotic strap she's got on there.

Other than that freaking great job!

Thanks for the critiques Collector I'll just throw out a few comments in my defense

    1. The bulge on the calf is actually supposed to be there, but I accidentally put it on the wrong side of the leg. The bulge is the tibialis anterior which you can feel if you put your hand on your shin and point your foot upwards.

    2. The lightning was kind of a last minute thing out of boredom, so everything else would naturally not match. I'll just make the excuse that generating lightning from her hand is a subtle and insignificant gesture for her, like breathing or blinking. Naturally it would seem so, being that some of the greater abilities she gained from Apocalypse like changing her molecular structure make generating lightning seem like cake walk.

    3. I would agree on the boots. The costume is a modified carbon-copy of Apocalypse's costume from the X-Men: Evolution series as a tip-of-the-hat tribute to the original designs. I tried to make the whole costume as sensuous as possible, but there's only so much I could do with what I had.

    4. Concerning the white spot at the glove, that was a big blunder on my spot. I saw that every time I worked on the image and I can't believe I never got around to fill in that blank spot before posting the image. I'll fix it up right away and repost the image in the morning.

    5. I can never get breasts right for some reason. I guess it's a prime example of what happens to your work if you don't have the proper resources if you know what I mean.  😛

Wisely, Bryan Hitch once said; An artist's 'style' is just his errors.

Ooh, I want to join in on quoting people.

In relation to myself, as Jim Rowe said: "What influenced my style was the feeling that I was a lousy artist… I was like the ugly duckling, not knowing what I was, style-wise, and thinking I was all on my own… I evolved into a style that couldn't be compared to anyone else."

Quickies for me take around an hour but sometimes push three if I'm really distracted.

For fully finished images like the Roguernaut image can take around 12 to a massive 30 hours depending on how many big mistakes I make. Regime is pushing the boundries currently at 24 hours where I've put about 2 to 3 hours a day over the span of almost two weeks. I lost a few days worth of work last week when my image somehow became corrupted and I was left with a really weird pixelated image.

It's really great to compare artistic stats with eachother. I think the forums could really benefit from a "Tricks of the Trade" board, like Wreck's old board had. But for now I think we could make the general board the subject's temporary home.

Ron, watch that video. That's the exact episode. The naked woman in that video is Carla Haug. A few seconds after the end of that video, she comes out of the bathroom with the strap-on. Sorry, but Chyna has never been on Arli$$. TV.com, IMDB and Arli$$'s official homepage all agree with me and for me at least those are the top three most credible sources.

Mine is a real mish-mash of a million and one styles. I never feel truley satisfied with the way I draw, so I keep finding ways to make it better. Currently it's a solid combination of Bridgeman and Otto's shape simplification on muscle with my own anatomical knowledge. The faces (outside of my Regime of the Rogue images) are derived from Tony Fucile's designs for the Incredibles and Iron Giant (two of my most favorite animated movies of all time). And the coloring know-how came from my college courses where highlight, midtone, core shadow, reflected light and cast shadow were all drilled into my head. My style has massively evolved since I first started drawing muscley females. Although I don't have a hell of a lot of drawings to my name, you can see the progression of my style on my page on DtV.

Uhh… does this mean no one's gonna take any of my requests…?  😕

To keep your hopes up, I'm organizing something to quench your desires. To keep your suspense up, I'm not saying anything else.  😛 😉

Yes, there is more growth.  I seem to recall that there were two versions of this storyline published by LH-ARt.  One was longer than the other.  I don't have either edition anymore but I seem to recall that one ran for about 20 pages.  The main character, Kathy, is originally small and wimpy and is rejected from a classmate's Halloween party.  She then meets a large, buff girl who gives her the formula with the cryptic instructions that the formula will allow her to become as big as she wants to be.  Kathy drinks it as seen in Fasola & DCM's 3 great colorized pages above.  Amazon Kathy is subsequently admitted to the party and keeps growing bigger as she drinks more and more beer and her inhibitions decrease and her desire to be bigger increases.  Kathy ends up about as big as the house.

The first apperance was in All Growth #4 where it was presented as a 6 page preview. The full version appears in All Growth #6. Really great story and artwork. Pretty much the entire All Growth series is really worth dishing out money for. Personally I have almost the entire series (missing issues numbers 2, 8, 15 and 16), and I'm completly satisfied with every one.
