KeymasterI'm getting a real "like it or screw you" attitude from you, which is fine if you didn't create a forum because you wanted feedback. If you don't want people telling you what changes they think would help the site, then remove this section of the forum.
For future reference, when people use the word "Feedback," it generally means they're looking for constructive criticism. You titled this thread Anyone Else Hate This New Location? and started another one called Too Freakin' Specific. Those aren't very constructive titles, so you'll forgive me if I conclude that your intent wasn't to engage in constructive dialogue.
I don't know what you're angry about, but if you thought you could be both obnoxious AND taken seriously, you were mistaken. This isn't high school and I'm not your principal. I'm a grown-up man with a job that doesn't involve looking after children, and I run this site on the side. I demand a certain standard of conduct from people, and if they don't meet that standard, the nicest thing I do is tune them out. Your life thus far may have taught you that "the squeaky wheel gets the grease," which is true in many cases. But I'd also advise you that in many other situations, the squeaky wheel gets replaced.
When I set up an advisory board a month ago, I included you in it because you'd been posting quite a bit and brought a lot of energy to the forum. I ran everything before the board before I did it – some things I told them I was going to do, other things I asked for advice about. You never contributed a thing to that discussion, which is too bad because that was an opportunity to share your opinions in a way that could have influenced how all this turned out. To share your opinions after the fact and in a nasty way, when you had the opportunity to do it beforehand and in a nice way, means that I'm not going to pay much attention to you.
This board has always had a small number of people who contribute in a positive way and a large number of lurkers who come by for the stories, art and links. I run this board so that the former can post their material in a low-maintenance, high-reliability, confidential environment, and so that the latter have access to that material in similar fashion. I can do this because I have been a contributor in this genre for a very long time – about as long as it has existed online – and so I am a trusted middleman.
You are entertaining, sexy and literate, and I suspect that you are a first-person FMG fetishist yourself. I don't think I have done anything to make you feel anything but welcome here. But that said, you have the same options here as everyone else: you can lurk, or you can be a positive contributor, or you can go away.

KeymasterThe DNAngels. They were three girls who shared some of Superboy's powers and had some different ones, too, like the ability to transform themselves somewhat. Their powers were the same but did not seem to be equally distributed, I recall. One of them could grow quite large, and I believe she was also the strongest. All three had some degree of superspeed, but one was particularly fast.

And here's the story description from another index:

I don't remember her being particularly muscular, but she wasn't skinny, either. "Solid", I'd call her.
There was a trio of super-powered badgirls in Superboy a few years back who reminded me of the Moondancers. I'll check up on that, too.

KeymasterI remember her. She appeared in at least two issues of World's Finest in the 1981-1984 time frame. I'll find it – give me 5 minutes.

KeymasterFound this at the J-List site, and thought you might get a kick out of it…
…might be NSFW, there is a naked guy covering his "naughty bits"…
The first thought to come into my head was definitely NSFW: "Get used to [present progressive verb] [colloquial anatomical reference].

KeymasterI still have no idea a) what the show is called, b) what network it's on, c) what country or region it's playing in, or d) whether the time is in the AM or the PM.
That's what we need to know here.

KeymasterThe idea here is that you tell people when things are going to be on TV.

Keymaster1. The arrangement makes more sense to you and a select few than to the majority, and since you think it's okay and can find people to back you up, you won't change it.
I hadn't realized you spoke for the majority.
I speak for one person. The advertising is here for good, the forum is inside the Amaz0ns framework for good, and there are a broader range of topics represented on the board. Everything else is open to discussion.
I'm beginning to understand why Diana the Valkyrie never changes anything.
Gracilis – would you find a RSS feed for each board to be useful? I can set that up without too much difficulty.

KeymasterI've disabled the one banner ad that I consider to be "salacious" and I've moved the Adbrite ads further down the page, and to the right column. Only Google AdSense ads are enabled on the Forum, and Google censors those for content.
If you've got a problem with me having any ads at all here, well, that's too bad.
She Grew! remained commerce-free simply because it was something I created on a lark and never expected to turn into the behemoth that it did. As it got bigger it has come to consume more of my time and resources, so I have moved it within a content site that I can manage in an organized fashion. The whole Amaz0ns installation is about me trying to build a wall around all the services I provide at no cost.
The ads you're griping about gross less than $200/month, which covers direct costs and my expenses, and puts a few bucks in my pocket. The last-most helps me convince myself that the very substantial effort involved in this undertaking is not a total loss.
Go read an Ayn Rand novel.

KeymasterI'm only worried about images and media uploaded to the Amaz0ns server.
