AlexGKeymasterOk so….does anybody know how to actually save this to their hard-drive?…
Possibly, if it’s downloading to be played on your computer, the file might be stored in your Temporary Internet Files folder. If you do locate it, just right click and copy (NOT DRAG AND MOVE) the file and then paste it to another folder, such as My Documents.
Its also a useful means of copying files from gallery sites with pre-estiblished right click protection . . . 😉

AlexGKeymasterI think Jen Walters was always meant to be above average height(at her time of appearence, 5'6") but as time went on, "above average" because nearly 6' (thus 5'10 Jen).
Don't mean to debate the issue, but this has been discussed at length in the past over on the Comicsboard She-Hulk forum. Given how she's normally drawn (no pun) by the artists in relationship with others, it seems that the generally accepted consensus is that she's not 5'-10" but in fact 5'-6". The ideal of a modest sized woman with extraordinary powers (concealed) is just too strong for them to let go of, takes away from the transformation mystique.
Other people have suggested maybe the She-Hulk formula is slowly "rejecting" normal Jen, as she has become trimmer, slightly more outgoing, and taller.
Interestingly enough, I've more then once suggested this as an hypnotical answer to solve the seeming paradox of her stated stats – that over time the metamorphic traits of her Gamma-ized form has over time effected her "normal" stature, but it's never been stated officially as theory or appears to have been broadly accepted by the vocally dominant community of fans.

AlexGKeymasterWell, here's the centerfold / spread w/ Quadra Blu – surprisingly, given my past (cussing with vulgar expletives) experiences with such, it assembled far easier then I ever expected, must be the Gods and Goddesses of Muscle smiling upon the work. 😎
Anyway, as I previously said, the stats of height and size as stated by Lyman, IMHO, are way off, especially in the light of how she was normally drawn in comparison to Max. But then, I've found the same thing happening with the Handbooks put out by Marvel or DC . . . is Jen Walters 5'-4", 5'-6" or at last count, 5'-10" when not the She-Hulk . . . 😐
As with any Marvel/DC et al crossover team up graphic novel, it would be interesting to have one with Quadra along with DCM's Tetsuko and Morrison's Andrah – the "Titaness Trio" as they save their respective alt-realties from a grand menace that threatens them all with utter destruction. 😮

AlexGKeymasterMedusa, she's still very much around (tho, never so buffed looking 😀 ) – and is married to Black Bolt, the monarch of the Inhumans . . . 😎

I might add, Eddie the moderator of the She-Hulk forum (http://members2.boardhost.com/SheHulk/) is a major fan of her and her sister Crystal (married to Quicksilver – and their daugher's name is Luna).

AlexGKeymasterAs promised, The Warlord featuring the Giantess from the story “Land of the Titans” – pity it was a one-shot episode in the series.
And this issue also includes the introduction of the scantily-clad companion to Travis Morgan – the shape-shifter named Shakira – the Woman Who Is A Cat or is it that’s she’s A Cat Who Is A Woman . . . they left that a mystery unanswered throughout the series.
I did read a long while back when this particular issue was discussed on another GTS forum that someone (can’t remember who) was working on a revisit to the concept, albeit with Travis Morgan encountering another community of Titans/Titanesses in Skataris. Don’t know if anything came of it, tho. 😎
Ouch – what a back hand, that’s gotta smart. 😮

AlexGKeymasterSo you too, huh? 😉 (joking here)
On one hand I don't want this to go too far astray off topic for this particular forum, but on the other hand this is one of those moments that this in-and-of itself as a topic probably deserves some more commentary. Just as a suggestion I would suggest that someone, such as yourself, Sir TPNB, begin a thread on this topic in the Female Muscularity: Society and Media forum. If you want to jump start it, you could even cut and paste copies of the last couple of posts . . . 😎

AlexGKeymasterNope, I know my anatomy well enough to use the terms for what I'm referring to 😉
I heard there isn't much to do about the wrists, but in case any of you knew anything that might work, I posted here.
No problemo, glad to be of assistance. 😎

AlexGKeymasterThere were several issues pencilled by Marc Silvestri where she was really depicted as a big girl. I'll see if I can dig them up and scan a few samples.
I've got some of the more buffed-up Polaris panels from #254 and #255 already scanned – but please, if you want to post yours, you're more then welcome to go ahead. 😎
Thanks, I've been looking for all of the "Amazon Polaris" issues for years, ever since I read Uncanny #250 and realized she went through this. There are more Polaris pics in #254, and #255. In #254 there's a scene where Moira McTaggart is running tests on Polaris to determine how she got so big – lots of cool dialogue. In #255 she wrecks house on some Reavers.
The problem with this character arc, though, is that it comes from the era when Uncanny was coming out twice a month, and the X-characters were scattered all over the world – Claremont's scripts for each issue would jump from character to character, sometimes giving us as little as 2 pages of story about what the people in Polaris's story were up to. In issue #258 she's trapped by Legion and then in #274 she has her powers drained … I was unable to figure out what happened to her in between because the plotting was so jumpy. She may have appeared in X-Factor in this time period, too.
Given the interest in Amazonian X-Men moments, I'm also working on scanning the pertinent panels from X-Men Annual #7 with the scene where Rogue absorbs She-Hulks powers . . . her then uniform, tho resilient, was unable to cope with the size change . . . 😀

AlexGKeymasterNot much you can do about the wrists, since that's bone, but what I think you're refering to is the forearm area. Building them up increases grip strength, a must if you're going to do pull ups for the lats and shoulders (not the underhand form, that only works the biceps) or full body deadlifts (which not only increase total body strength but is also an excellent mass builder).
You could do reverse barbell curls – the movement is similar to regular standing bicep curls, but you use an overhand grip to perform the repetion.
Another would be curling a barbell (or one at at time using a dumbell, if you prefer) off of a supine bench (some like to use an incline bench or preacher bench to increase the intensity) with your forearms flat against it and curling upward using only your hands/wrists to contract the forearm muscles. The motion can also be done standing – with your arms behind you, keeping them straight against your buttock and curling the barbell with hands/wrists in an upward motion to contract the forearm muscles.
