ParticipantThose are all good ideas.
The third won’t happen, for reasons that will become clear as you read through Wednesday.
The first two won’t happen on Wednesday, because Juliet spent Wednesday with another friend and because Theresa’s brothers needed a little time to heal before she punished them more. But they are just the kind of things that WILL happen as time passes.
Just wait.

ParticipantNomdreserv deserves joint credit for that story. We wrote it together.
And there are echoes of that magic ring in many of my stories. Like Pendant Changes.I do love strength/muscle draining and transfer stories. I wish I could spend all day reading them. I wish everyone would write them. I wish …. Hmmm.
Speakling of wishes, "Wednesday" is coming ….
It’s nearly done, and is nearly half as long as the other five days put together, but I may not be able to post it until April 10th or so due to my intense travel schedule in March and possible dodgy internet connections on the road. We’ll see.

ParticipantI LOVED writing The Spell. It was my first complete long story, and I kept finding things to add to it.
Marta sure didn’t start out that way, but I like what you’ve made her into.

ParticipantThe only endings that really disturb me, are the ones where the guy ends up in his lowest and the girl looses interest in him. For example: Gayle and a few of your other stories. You can be very cruel to your readers.
Yes, I’ve done that a few times. The Lilly Lane story ended like that, and so did The Good Witch. And the "Oh No!" stories all had the main character losing their chance for strength and power to an undeserving woman. But that was the point of those stories.
Contrary to some feedback from readers, I didn’t think the ending in my Jilly Milly story was a negative. Sure, Superboy didn’t get his powers back, but Jilly Milly got her comeuppance and learned a few things, and Superboy seemed happy with his superpowered neighbor. What did you think?
And what about A Real Fantasy? Was it too depressing for the main character to lose all his strength? In that story, he got to keep the girl and live out his fantasy. Is that a happy or unhappy ending?
I can assure you that no real persons have ever been harmed in my stories.
And do you find the endings in the Brandi series depressing or enjoyable? Of course Mark never gets what he wants, but he always comes back and tries again in the next story. And Brandi certainly is never unhappy … in the end. Her power just keeps growing in each installment. (although I don’t know how I’ll make her any more powerful than she is now)
Anyway, I don’t want my stories to repeat themselves. I like to keep my readers off balance, so you’ll never know quite how my story will end. Let me know if I fall into any disagreeable patterns.
(Except that I can tell you now, the Mark in the Brandi series will NEVER get what he wants!)

ParticipantBut then what? The growth is over.
I just never get tired of a girl growing out of her clothes!
I know, the growth always ends, and then so does the story … until I write the next one!

ParticipantGetting appreciation for writers (or artists) is always difficult. I find the following helps.
* Communicate with your readers. Respond to comments. Show your readers’ that you appreciate their contributions too.
* Make story writing a two way process, so that readers feel they are part of a dialogue.
* Comment on other writers’ works. Other writers have the same needs you do. Join the community.
To answer the other post, sometimes happy endings just don’t work for me. But I hear you guys, I really do! Now tell me what is a happy ending? For example, are we FMG fetishists happier when guys regain their strength or when the girl keeps it? Certainly sometimes we’re happier when the guy and girl stay together, but who should be on top?
Maybe this should be a separate topic: "Alternative story endings I would have preferred."

ParticipantThere is a scene on a beach in my "What I Want" story that you’d probably like. It’s the scene where our main character and a bratty little girl have their final confrontation.
Mark Newman
ParticipantVery well done, Hunter. I especially enjoyed the scene in the car with the Shirley Temple voice. Thanks very much for writing it and posting it.

ParticipantThanks for your ideas, Max and Osquip. I can’t promise to put those specific scenes in the stories, but you will certainly find things like that, both in the earlier chapters and the new ones. Life includes both the tender and the tough and I try to write it that way.
I do not intend to let the pendant be used for personal vendettas, but you never know what may happen when magical forces are unleashed.

ParticipantAlex is right. Guys lost 6" – 12", and girls gained about the same amount.
Some guys got fatter. The effect was caused by a loss in levels of fitness.
I certainly would not delve into discussions of suicide. It’s just not something I understand, and it’s not fun or sexy to think about.
I suppose some extremely tall women might have these problems, but no one in the group we’re meeting. None of them would be considered "extremely tall" under the new standards.
the girls can still be shot, stabbed, poisoned and bubbled like anyone else, no?
They sure can be, but I hope no one would do that to my girls.
