I think Monty Bank is now my favorite FMG story male protagonist.

He’s the character that uses his wits since his fists have been sucked to mush by the orbital strength drain.

I was wondering about that actually. The female allaince that secretly got those things into orbit must be taking steps now that they’re super powered to ensure they STAY up. I’m thinking they might offer greater ‘beam saturation’ to ladies that agree to gaurd the possible launch points. Cape Canaveral in the Weakened States of America is proubably the most secured.

The Chinese are proubably the super power with the most advanced space program at the moment in the "Transfer Student" world.

All this musing came from the mental image of the few expatriate US Females managing to get up to the station only to find a 24 hour gaurd of La Grange point ladies. Their bodies protected from cosmic ray damage and the degregdation of low Gs by a zap "Straight off the Paglia Coils".

This is shaping up to be one nicely erotically charged tale of terror! 8)

It would be funny if you somehow linked what was going on worldwide with what wiped out the ancient civilization that originally created the pendant. A smaller echoe of the larger din of chaos and contorting physiques that is happening in this story.

There might be some ‘false hope’ somewhere with the last belch of magical mana from the necklace being used by a desperate male to "Set things right" only to be admonished by the spirit of the device and told that his wish has made the effects PERMANENT. 😈

Great stuff!

I love the eriee Mad Max feeling of a powered up Austrailia. The atmosphere is great and a real nice grounding set up for what might happen next.

You’ve really kept the detail oriented science fiction feel of Marknew’s original work. You don’t over look the uncomfortable consequences of such a transfer but instead make that the conflict that drives the story.

Women fighting for territory and expanding their borders affirms that HUMANS despite their gender will fight when resources get strained.

Coolness. Waiting eagerly for the next instalment.

"Well I’ve been trying to secretly take over the world.. Yeah Mel no lie. Except my damn secret weapon just keeps making this humming sound and shutting down. On an unrelated note I’d invest in some lead paint for your room."

It would be nice for her to enjoy her new altered body for a while. Also the odd Politically Correctional world of 2108 is compelling as well.

Perhaps a brush with Alchohol Tobacco and Firearms mayhaps?

She might try to make it big in the new celebrity Blog frontier?

Some of the sweet built in madness you have in this tale that I absolutely love.

-Amy’s siblings are still growing. While they’re smaller than Amy their progress will add to her own.

-The fitness regimen for Amy’s familial unit will be another small trickle of potential power.

-The hot to trot Laurie’s possible appearance and subsequential decline. 😈

-Interesting conflicts between Chris’s family and the Mistress Amy’s possible sebsequent "Kidnapping" of him 😉

Plenty of opportunities for a continuation but still works great with what you’ve given us.

Great stuff.

I love these first person narrative tales of power swappage!

It would be interesting if the narrator somehow got his hands on that AquaPulse stuff and managed to ‘spike’ some co-ed practices in petty vengence.

It would be funny to see things from Erin’s view as well. Was she the first to learn of the stuff’s effects? Is there a greater conspiracy?
