ParticipantThere is a reason for that, though few might guess it. The episode that they showed on Toonami is not really the first episode. A few years back (I can't remember exactly how long ago), Toonami did a special showing of this show while it was being developed. I believe that, when they changed it, they went with a few scenes that were already drawn. The character of Liz was nicknamed "she-hulk" by the main character (I can't remember his name). She is (or at least was) a martial arts expert and worked out continuously. She was pretty buff, but, of course, Toonami severely downplayed her muscularity so that it would appeal to a greater number of people. By the way, this was aired when Toonami was still on weekday afternoons. This was, I think, Toonami's second or third incarnation. Right now, it is either on it's fourth or fifth (I think fifth).

ParticipantI can empathize with that feeling. 😉

ParticipantVery true. Would forums like this still exist if every woman was a muscular behemoth? And if it did, would it be the same? For now, I think that the staus quo is good. There is no need for any woman to change their body in such a way if they don't really want to.

ParticipantFor me, basic desire dictates that all women should be big-breasted amazons. Logic, on the other hand, says almost exactly wat you said. I suppose that if I was given the power to change all women into my fantasy, I would probably not do it. Maybe to individuals, but not everyone. I am a firm believer in the idea that life is meaningless if you don't enjoy it. What would I be doing if I changed every woman on the planet? I'm sure that at lest a few would not like the change very much, therefore (from their point of view) I would be ruining their lives. I love musclular women, and I would not mind having a serious relationship with one, but I think that I will stick with stories. Part of the fun of having a fantasy is that you can do whatever you want with it.

ParticipantWell… you could do that as well… 😳
Still, I believe that it is extremely important to blend words together as you are describing. Saying that something is growing bigger over and over paints the picture rather well, but it gets real old, real fast. In addition to the change itself, I suggest that you focus on one group at a time, not covering every detail, but enough to catch the reader's attention. Another suggestion is to use as many words as possible that are synonymous with a basic word. For example, instead of saying "growing" all the time, you could stick in other words like "swelling", "bulging", "engorging", and other words of that ilk. This doesn't just go for verbs, though. The nouns need to be swapped out as well. For example, while talking about a woman's posterior swelling with muscle, you could say something along the lines of "Her beautiful ass slowly began to bulge outward, swelling into a gorgeous amazonian shape. The striations of her strengthening glutes could be seen as they began to tear through her shorts."
Again, these are suggestions. The use of metaphores and similes are also recommended, but try not to use them too much. They also get real old, real fast. I hope that this has been helpful, and if you already knew this stuff, then ignore it. I'm just trying to help as best I can. One last thing, before I stop my little speech. I suggest that you look at other stories on this forum and see what it is that other people say and do. From there, you can peice together something that will get you by your first few stories, as you get more comfortable and create your own style.

ParticipantI'm not sure that there is a difference, but, to me, there is a slight shift in meaning. I think that the real difference between the two lies in the connotations, not the denotations. Muscle inflation doesn't sound healthy in the least. To me, it means that the muscles get bigger, but the strength stays the same or nothing else changes. Muscle growth, on the other hand, has a healthier feel to it. When I think of muscle growth, I see a woman swelling with the sheer power that her muscles contain. That, as well as a few other things, of course. The altering of her figure to better suit her new physique, bigger breasts to accenuate her womanly figure, a height shift to make her more alluring, as well as subtle changes in the rest of her body and face that take her beauty to new heights. Muscle inflation just fills me with images of women who are so big that they can't move. I hope this was helpful.

ParticipantOuch! That had to hurt! 😮
Ah well, I'm sure that her little episode of self-doubting will end swiftly after she realizes just how strong she is. 😀
Please post another tomorrow! If you don't, I will probably go into withdrawl! 😉gblock01
ParticipantOr you could simply ask for help from other writers. I, for one, would be more than willing to do so. But you have to ask first. 😉
