    Looks great!

The only thing that looks "off" to me is the right leg is so much bigger than the left leg.  I can't tell if that's for future perspective or just a minor detail…

    Anyway, great work!

    Hey Kulli – keep motivated!

I would STRONGLY urge you to get two workout buddies.  The reason for this has to do with "team mentality."  If any one of you feels blah, the other two are there to pick them up and get their butts into the gym.  The other reason is because you feel more accountable.  If you don't show up, you know that you will be letting two friends down.  That's a hard pill for a lot of people to swallow and, again, keeps you motivated to hit the gym on a regular basis.

I would also suggest that you not bother with the weights at home just yet.  The gym environment is FAR more motivational.  When the weights are lying around the house, they have a tendency to become nothing more than heavy clutter!

Finally, how are you monitoring your diet [especially caloric intake]?  It may be worth your while to check a weight watchers or even go online to ediets.com and look around.  It’s amazing how much difference something like portion control [1 can isn’t always 1 serving!] makes a difference…

Anyway, I hope some of this helps.  Nothing made me happier than to see a formerly overweight friend show up to my 10 year reunion 150lbs lighter and looking great!

Due to my personal experiences from 9/11, I always check the network for good: http://partners.guidestar.org/controller/searchResults.gs?action_gsReport=1&partner=networkforgood&ein=57-1116978

This is a great company who did a ton of work in Honduras during their Hurricane and also did a ton of work following the tsunami.  The need for clean water is going to be a MAJOR concern in a city below sea level with a sewer system below sea level and corpses floating out of crypts…  That water is going to be completely unsanitary and nonpotable.

Actually, you use your hip flexors in situps and take the intensity off the abs.

This is ESPECIALLY true if you "lock in" your feet under a bed frame or other solid object.

Another great exercise is hanging leg lifts.  Hang off of a chin up bar and do leg lifts.  If you think that is too easy, try bringing your knees up to your nose! [this will also engage your arms, shoulders, and back]

Bastard! I had to sit across from John Hnatyschak who spent the entire flight gabbing with the people behind me and the 250lb woman (no muscle) who squeezed in next to me.

LOL – we must have been on the same flight!

The buzz around town is – following the probable success of the Superman franchise about to hit theaters next summer – they are looking in to doing either a Supergirl movie or having her in the next Superman.  Rumor is that Jamie King has been targeted to wear the cape…

Imagine if she hit the gym for a year prior?  Yum!

The rules were amended to encourage fbb's to look more feminine.  I think that this was a gross misjudgment in that reducing the muscularity isn’t necessarily going to make a woman more attractive or marketable.

To use Elena Seiple as an example, she’s an attractive woman with a great physique.  The sad fact is that I’ll bet dollars to donuts that if she went out and got breast implants and a better makeup artist, she would have won and been beating endorsement deals back with a stick.  The event organizers look at the success of women like Monica Brant, Rena Mero [Sable], Timea Majorova, and our newly unveiled Fahrenheit girl [Jelena Abbou] and think, “gee, maybe our women have to be smaller.]

It’s all part of the prepackaged mass market hooey we have come to know and despise.  Like it or not, it’s going to take the second coming of Rachel McLish or Cory Everson to turn the sport back in the right direction by drawing in the male spectators [just like Anna did for women’s tennis and Danica is doing for Indy car racing].

Where is Tetsuko when you REALLY need her?
